All Together Now Event - October 2010

Cities in Balance (CIB) Conference
In 2009, Stockport’s multi-agency All Our Tomorrows Partnership played host to delegates from around Europe at an international conference aimed at raising the profile of services designed to ensure that older people feel a valued part of their local community. Find out more.

Find out more about how Stockport’s All Our Tomorrows Partnership consulted with older people to see if their needs and priorities have changed. We asked you to tell us what you think about housing, getting out and about, health and healthy living, socialising, information and money matters by joining our informal discussions and focus groups.
Over 1,500 people have returned questionnaires and more have attended focus groups and
one-to-one sessions to tell us about the things that matter most to them.

All Your Suggestions
One of the outcomes from the 2008 consultation event was that people wanted it to be easier to tell us their views and to make suggestions.
Plans are already underway to place suggestion boxes at various locations around Stockport but till then you can use our virtual Suggestion Box.
